Bible Verses About God’s Timing (KJV)

Ecclesiastes 3:1

Why does it seem like God’s timing is always off? Why do we have to wait so long for things that we pray for?

These are valid questions that deserve honest answers. The truth is, we don’t always understand God’s timing. But there are a few things we can know for certain about His perfect timing.

First, we know that God is never late. His Word tells us that He is faithful and just to fulfill His promises (Deuteronomy 7:9). So when we’re waiting on God to move, we can rest assured that He will come through in His perfect time.

Second, we know that God’s timing is always good. Even when it feels like He’s dragging His feet, we can trust that His timing is always best. He sees the big picture and knows what’s best for us, even when we don’t (Proverbs 19:21).

Lastly, we know that God’s timing is always purposeful. Even though we may not understand why He makes us wait, we can trust that there is a reason behind it. He is using the waiting to grow our faith and prepare us for what He has in store (James 1:2-4).

We may not always understand God’s timing, but we can trust that He knows what He is doing. His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. We may not be able to see the big picture like God can, but we can trust that He is in control. Even when things are tough, we can know that God is still good and that He loves us.

So the next time you find yourself questioning God’s timing, remember these three things. He is never late, His timing is always good, and there is always a purpose behind it. Trusting in these truths will help you to have hope and patience as you wait on the Lord.
