What Does Bible Say About Rainbow?

The rainbow is a sign from God to humanity that He will never again destroy the earth with a flood. The rainbow is also a sign of God’s glory and faithfulness. In a sinful world, God promises to protect His people from evil ones. Whenever you see a rainbow, remember all that God has done for you and have faith in Him. He will always be there for you.

The rainbow is a beautiful sight that often reminds people of God’s promises.  Here are some verses about rainbows from the Bible that will inspire you to look on the bright side of life.

“Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.” – Genesis 9:16

“Then God said, ‘My covenant with you is that never again will all life be destroyed by the waters of a flood. I have set my rainbow in the clouds as a sign of this promise.'” – Genesis 9:11-13

“And I will make my covenant between me and you, and will make you exceedingly numerous.'” – Genesis 17:2

“I have set my bow in the clouds, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth.” – Genesis 9:13

“The LORD is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made.” – Psalm 145:13

As you can see, rainbows are mentioned several times in the Bible as symbols of hope. Whenever you see a rainbow, remember that God is always keeping His promises. He is faithful and loving toward all of His creation. So, take heart and have hope- things are going to get better!
