What do you ultimately want out of your spiritual life? Do you want to feel connected to something bigger than yourself? Do you want to have a sense of faith that keeps you going in the hard times? Do you want to have compassion for everyone and everything? Whatever it is, you need to develop practices in your life to help you reach your vision. Spiritual quotes can help you remember your vision and why you want to bring spiritual practices into your life and stick with them. Post spiritual quotes that resonate with you on your vision board or write them down somewhere you often contemplate your spiritual aspect of life.
1. Spirituality Is A Part Of Who You Are
“Just as a candle cannot burn without fire, men cannot live without a spiritual life.” – Buddha
If you’ve ever had a need to become more spiritual, more connected to something greater than your physical body and the crappy people that do crappy things all day, then this spiritual quote will resonate with you.
I never focused much on my spirituality when I was younger. I was too caught up in ridiculous things. As I’ve gotten older, though, I believe this spiritual quote completely.
Obviously, we can live without a spiritual life. I know many people who do. But, we cannot live a happy, fulfilled, peaceful, and compassionate life without being in touch with our spiritual side.
So don’t give up on reaching your spiritual vision. It will add a richness to your life that will make everything much better.
2. Spirituality Gives Meaning To Life
“When you love people and have the desire to make a profound, positive impact upon the world, then will you have accomplished the meaning to live.” – Sasha Azevedo
This is simple: Living purely from the physical turns you into Scrooge, where the meaning of life lies in money and material possessions. But once you start to strengthen your spiritual side there is a lot of meaning in every action you take, every interaction you have, and everything you do.
3. Spirituality Can Help You Change The Planet For The Better
“The world’s going to be better if we are choosing from the vibration of joy, love, compassion, and happiness. It would eliminate a lot of the dark stuff on the planet.” – Christie Marie Sheldon
Christie Marie Sheldon says that if you are operating from a state of love or above, your energy affects thousands upon thousands of other people who are operating at a lower vibration. That means you can help other people who are unhappy to move up into better states of emotions. And that can have a profound impact on the planet.
Connection with your spiritual side and strengthening your spiritual practices makes you happier, and when you are happier, other people are happier. You do better things. You are kinder and more patient with others. And you tend to live more from a loving state, where you have the power to really help change things for the better.
4. Life Is Boring Without Spirituality
“There are only two ways to live your life: one is as if everything is a miracle, the other is as though nothing is a miracle.” – Albert Einstein
To think that there is nothing more than our meat suits and the never-ending struggle of physical life is not just boring, it’s depressing. It means that nothing really matters. There’s no wonder in this world. There’s nothing left to discover or experience.
Spirituality adds an element of wonder and excitement to your life. What will happen? What could happen? And, how much can you accomplish with your spiritual and physical self working in unison?
When you work on developing your spirituality, life takes on a new, interesting tone. Your wonder increases, and in my experience, you don’t just believe in miracles, you see them.
5. Daily Spiritual Growth Helps Us Become Larger And Larger
“A single day is enough to make us a little larger or, another time, a little smaller.” ― Paul Klee
Working on your spiritual practice daily helps you expand yourself into something more.
For example, you become more aware, more disciplined, more engaged, more loving, or more accepting.
The point is, you become larger in some way and that’s pretty cool, especially when your other options are to become smaller or stay stagnant.
6. Find Your Real Self In Spirituality
“Your sacred space is where you can find yourself over and over again.” ― Joseph Campbell
When your spiritual practices are focused upon, you will find that they bring a sense of presence to your life. You start to see yourself for who you are, not what you think you are. You start to realize your wants and dreams. And, most importantly, you start to live from a space of authenticity where you do things that make your spiritual self feel good.
So, if you’ve found that you’ve lost yourself, you need to develop some spiritual practices and work towards a spiritual goal. It will help you find your center and get back to the real you.
7. Feel Alone Or Feel Connected
One of the most important things that spirituality addresses is the experience of being benevolently connected to all that exists. – Jon Butcher
This is one of those spiritual quotes I think everyone will resonate with.
One of the best things about developing your spirituality is that you stop feeling so alone. You know that you and everyone else on this planet is connected in some way, and while you may be alone in your house, you will always have that connection with everyone.
8. You’re Doing It Right
There are some “spiritual” people who will have you believe that it’s their way or the highway. Don’t be fooled. This entitlement is just fear masked by incense. Your power, your light, your divine self is YOU. You do the work and your intuition is the most important force 💕

Part of what gets in the way of us developing a spiritual practice is that we believe we are not doing it right. Our parents, teachers, friends, and preachers all tell us how to think when it comes to ‘how to be spiritual’.
One thing to consider is that if you were born in a completely different place on this earth, would you have the same beliefs you do now? The answer is probably not.
Most of us develop spiritual beliefs based on what our community of people tends to believe. But, there are plenty of other people out there who believe something different and practice spirituality differently because they are doing what their community tends to believe.
The great thing is that we don’t have to be a certain type of spiritual person just because we are born in one part of the world or because people tell us we should. There are many different spiritual practices and beliefs out there, and we can choose what resonates with us the most and go forward from that point learning and growing.
