People Not Going After Their Dreams Will Often Try To Kill Your Dreams

One thing I’ve experienced throughout my life is that people going after their dreams are not likely to try to kill your dreams unless they are greedy and think that you are overshadowing them or taking something away from them. But, for most people, dream chasers understand how important your dreams are and will encourage you to go after them. On the other hand, people not going after their dreams in life will try to kill your dreams before you even have a chance to experience them.

This is why people who have experienced success will often create courses, books, seminars, or events to help you realize the potential you have and help you reach those dreams. For instance, T. Harv. Eker has reached millionaire status in an ethical and fulfilling way, and he helps other people do the same. They want you to do well. So gravitate towards those kinds of people if you have big dreams. They will push you forward!

How To Spot People Not Going After Their Dreams

First, it’s important to spot those people who are not actively pursuing dreams. And, thankfully, it’s pretty easy.

They do the same thing day in and day out. They don’t change, grow, or adopt new beliefs. They have had the same habits for years – even decades – and they are not willing to change them for anything.

They have accepted where they are in life, even if they complain sometimes (or all the time) about it.

And they don’t take action on anything they want. If they do, it’s minimal and they usually give up before they barely begin.

Some Of Them Are Haters

They hate that you are trying to do something with your life. They may dislike what you are trying to do, what you stand for, where you are, where you have been, where you are going, that you are doing something they are not willing to do, or how much effort you are willing to put in.

They may also hate themselves, and instead of constantly beating themselves up, they project their hate towards other people. So, if you get in their way, then watch out! They are going to try to do everything in their power to make you as miserable as they are.

It’s really hard to understand haters, especially when they are putting down good people who are trying to do good things, but it’s not hard to understand that they will always be there. They just don’t like certain things and certain people, and they are not going to stay quiet about it.

Do what Nia says and keep your head down, put in the work, and make your dreams a reality!

Some Of Them Are Miserable People

When I see someone who is negative, I don’t think they are a jerk. I think they are miserable.

Anyone who complains all the time and puts other people down or has an overly pessimistic view of the world and everything in it must have a really crappy life. Their thoughts need to consistently be focused on the negative.

That negativity would keep them from ever truly enjoying the present moment, as they dwell on things and worry about stuff that they don’t need to worry about.

What a sad, pathetic life.

Don’t listen to people who are living a sad, pathetic life unless you want to follow in their footsteps. Ignore them, keeping taking action, and leave them far behind.

Some Of Them Are Scared

Sometimes people will try to kill your dreams because they are scared. They were scared they would fail, so they gave up on their dreams. And, they are scared you will fail, so they try to kill your dreams.

These people are very passionate about getting you to stop. They don’t want to see you hurt, embarrassed, or let down. And they will tell you so.

Don’t let their fear affect you. Living with fear is no way to live. It keeps you small and holds you back from living the life you want to live. You want to be able to say, “At least I tried,” which means you need to move past the fear and take action.

A Lot Of Them Don’t Have Faith

In order to go after your dreams, you need to have faith. You need to believe that good thing can and will happen to you if you only put in the effort to get them. You need to have faith in yourself and your ability to do what needs to be done or learn how to do what needs to be done.

People who try to kill your dreams don’t have that kind of faith. Imagine how depressing that is? They must feel like nothing is on their side, and, that no matter what, they cannot live the life they want to live.

Let their lack of faith inspire you to keep yours. Maybe one day, you will show them how much faith they should have had.
