15 Weird Things Girls Do when They get Jealous

1. Lying

Girls are actually good at hiding their emotions and guys usually don’t have any idea why they act like that. Usually, whenever a girl is in the midst of jealousy, you will get unbelievable answers to your simple questions.

2. Suddenly changing mood

You’ll see how a girl’s mood immediately shifts when you try to flirt or talk to another girl. Girls are naturally moody but you’ll know when they are jealous if they start acting strange.

3. Asking a friend to stalk

It would be safe if she asks a friend to stalk you, so you won’t have any idea that she’s keeping an eye on you. Most of the girls do this when they want to find out who are you hanging out with and who do you talk to every day.

4. Ignoring him

Another sign that she is jealous of is when she ignores you. Girls are playing hard to get when they are jealous. They won’t talk to you, not unless you do a lot of effort to please them.

5. Trying to flirt with other men

If she finds out that you don’t notice her, she will make a way to get your attention. You’ll know that she is jealous when she starts flirting with other guys because she wants to see if you care and get jealous as well.

6. Mentioning other guys in front of him

Mentioning other guys in front of you is no doubt a sign of jealousy. If girls are jealous, they also want you to feel jealous and want to see how you will react if they mention different guys in front of you.

7. Pretending to be too busy

Sometimes, when girls are jealous they pretend to be busy because they do not want to be ignored. When both of you are out with friends and you keep on talking to another girl, there are some instances that she would get her phone and pretend to be busy browsing her social media accounts.

8. Laughing out loud even though there’s nothing funny about

There is no doubt that girls are good at hiding their emotions. She would just laugh at things no matter how stupid she looks like just to put out of sight her jealousy.

9. Becoming clingy

Who would want to let other girls stick around her boyfriend? Well, girls are territorial and would not want any other girls to wander around their boyfriend and that is why they start acting so clingy.

10. Creating a dummy account

Girls get paranoid sometimes and would make a way just to stalk their boyfriends’ social media accounts. Creating a dummy account will also help her stay on track with the girl she is jealous of and is the best way as well to keep an enemy closer to her.

11. Posting hot selfies

When girls are jealous, they get a sudden urge to post a lot of hot selfies. Probably, wearing a tiny outfit at the gym or posting their pictures on Instagram wearing two-piece on the poolside and see how their boyfriend would react to all those guys hitting “Like”

12. Making negative comments about the other girl

Of course, as someone who is jealous of the other girl he usually hangs out with, she’s not going to say positive things about her. No matter how untrue it is, she would still dig up dirt on the target. She would casually mention to his boyfriend that the girl had a lot of boyfriends or flunked out of college.

13. Checking his phone like a detective

Girls have a detective side as well. So when they get jealous or think that you are dating someone else because you’re staying late at night outside. She won’t think twice to check your phone if you have another girl and even if it has a password. It’s not as hard as you think to watch someone type in their passcode.

14. Faking an illness

There is nothing like becoming desperately ill just to pull him away from anything and anyone else. He probably has a party to attend but she doesn’t want you to attend because there are a lot of girls out there. And she would rather fake an illness, so you have someone to take care of.

15. Talking sarcastically

There are girls who use sarcastic phrases when they talk to you, especially if they are jealous of something. She might probably roll her eyes followed by a slight grin or might laugh loudly.

Of course, not all girls entertain jealousy in their hearts or minds. Besides, guys can also be jealous and even do weirder things than girls do when they feel that. In other words, jealousy is felt by everyone, especially those who love too much and are afraid to lose the ones they love.

Jealousy, in its mild state, can be harmless to a relationship – some girls or boys even want to see their partners get jealous to feel that they are loved. However, too much jealousy can be dangerous and destructive to a relationship, and even to people’s lives. Thus, it is something that we need to control.

Jealousy should only be a mild ingredient to your relationship to make it sweet and colorful. So the next time the green-eyed monster visit you, don’t entertain it too much. The more you entertain it, the more you do weird stuff. And for the boys or guys out there, if you love your girlfriend or wife, you will not make her feel jealous and sad in the first place, right?

  3. No. 2: “Girls are naturally moody but you’ll know when they are jealous if they start acting strange“. Then I suppose that just about every girl I’ve ever met must be jealous. Just about every one of these behaviors would be a sign to me that the girl is NOT interested in me and that I should just walk away.

    • Ask if she’s jealous, just be honest and straight-up. If she won’t admit it, that means she probably was. If she just acts mad and avoids the question, she’s probably jealous. If you don’t want to do that, ask why she is mad about it. It isn’t hard to spot girls being jealous using the questions above.

  7. I am constantly stalking the internet for information pictures anything I can get my hands on about my exe’s beautiful wife. He’s been married for 30 or more years to her and she’s someone I wish to be. I have a collection of her pictures before I think she blocked me from her facebook page and I have a crazy obsession about her. People think I am confident and I’m actually filled with enough hate that it comes out as confidence. Shamefully, I ask my friend to help me stalk her online. She has the life I want, she’s so beautiful and intetesting. No one really knows the real me, but I can’t help myself.

  8. Liking what I’m reading .
I believe Jealousy is insecurity gone haywire & emotions are hard to control when they’re out of the bag.
It is wrong for someone in a relationship to incite jealousy in their partner order to make themselves feel “better” about themselves- actually I believe that they are insecure too.
After being accused of jealousy by my partner a few times when he was looking at attractive young women on tv, I took the view that if he didn’t think I was “good” enough (= most suitable for him) then we should end the relationship . He soon watered down his comments mmmm.
I called his bluff & suggested that maybe he shouldn’t make negative comments on anyone who was more attractive ,richer, smarter, younger, etc than him -as it was being “jealous”- that soon shut him up.
I’m realising, along with everything else that has transpired , I don’t want to be with someone who knowingly hurts me every time we argue.

  10. Hey, so a girl that I was dating got mad and blocked me because one day I asked her if she is mad at me because I posted a photo with a another girl (who is my female friend and she didn’t tell me anything about it. After that day I called her and we spoke for two minutes. I was back home so she asked me when I’m coming back. In which I replied January 7 and asked her back is she wants to see. She said no and laughed. It’s funny because January 7 was the day that she blocked me.
When she block me I send her a message from my sister’s Instagram account. Afterwards I applied no contact and it has been three months. I honestly have that gut feeling that she will come back. I don’t really miss her that much. I learned to be enjoy being lonely.

    Regards,

    Daniel.

  11. Geez, I’m a woman and I think this kind of behavior is embarrassing. These are all signs if IMMATURITY. And frankly I wouldn’t want to date a person that that either. Learn how to TALK instead of using immature behavior to communicate your needs boys and girls.

  12. Actually, these all just sound like normal, everyday female behavior. And it really doesn’t matter what THEY do when (I’m glad you used that word, because “if” isn’t correct) they get jealous. What matters is what YOU do, and there’s only one thing to do: Dump her. Now. And give her no hope for reconciliation. Cut her out of your life and never contact her again. It’s the only way to defeat the green monster. And they’ve all got the green monster, so I wouldn’t blame a guy if he proactively dumped ALL women before even meeting them. That would save a lot of hassle.

She is always caring and makes me understand that always I should give my family importance.. But despite of these she never speak up she likes me.. What should I do..?? She shares me everything out.. I know a lot about her life which is also might be not known to others.. I don’t know what to do.. When I proposed her she said she thinks me only as a friend.. But why is it so..?? Then why she cares so much..?

    • See… I think you need to apply some tricks on her so that she is not afraid of accepting your proposal. Many times we girls are ashamed of expressing our feeling so… Coming on point TRICK: for a few days try to ignore her a little bit not too much that she feel bad about it then notice her is she sad or not, try not to meet her then see is she finding u or not if yes then make her jealous by talking to other girls that only she is gonna accept u.

  17. This is happening to me right now with one of my ex friends. Her name is Angelina and she stalks me calls my new boyfr5and tells him that she sees me with one of my ex’s when I haven’t even left my house. I don’t know why she won’t leave me alone she always try to steal my friends and my boyfriend away. But they both know her game that she is playing. I tried to confront her about this but she says that she will call the cops on me. I know that she has bipolar and is retarted but that shouldn’t make her that jelouse of me to where all she doed5id think about me all the time.

    • She isn’t retared, and maybe having bipolar is making her breakup harder. Try to see this from her point of view, he probably just meant alot to her and she just can’t help her emotions get the best of her. Yes, jealosy can be an ugly thing but we’ve all been through it or at least felt a hint of it. If you have felt jealousy before i’m sure you know it feels horrible and it isn’t easy. Just ignore, be happy and things will soon go back to somewhat normal 🙂

        • People don’t remain the same just because you got married. Time doesn’t freeze. That’s why divorce is so popular now. Comparing yourself to another is the most pathetic thing I’ve ever heard. You likely have depression and nothing turns a guy off more than a depressed chick. And I don’t mean a diagnosed depression, in referring to the poor me bullsh*t. Always posting “inspirational quotes” make girls look desperate and pathetic too. Just accept he changed and you changed and you’re not a good match anymore. I may be blunt but you will remain pathetic until your grow up and respect yourself.

          • That reply is the meanest thing I have ever heard. You can say that her and her ex have changed but don’t tell someone they’re “depressed” or “pathetic” because they’re experiencing an emotion they CANNOT GET RID OF. To top this comment off you referred to an extremely serious mental illness as “THE POOR ME BULLSH*T”. PEOPLE WITH DEPRESSION CAN’T HELP THE WAY THEY FEEL! Otherwise, they aren’t actually depressed. You need to direct your cruelty somewhere else. As well as all of that, there is just depression. Diagnosed by a REAL doctor type of depression. She’s not likely “depressed but not the depression kind of depression”. Do you realised how dumb that sounds? I think you need to grow up instead of attacking millions of people in a single phrase.

Also, to the woman who was feeling jealous, it’s a perfectly valid and normal form of expressing pain. My personal opinion that might contradict others but it’s just an opinion is as long as you don’t inflict it on others, jealousy is a valid experience. However, to work on it yourself, you need to overcome this obstacle. I think it’s safe to expect that you aren’t going to get anywhere by stalking, even if it might be interesting. Same goes for indulging on thoughts that she’s hiding something. You’re most likely not going to get him back, so I would try to find a way to get over him and her. Yes, it may be a very long and complicated process, but I believe you can do it with the right intentions.
